As far as loading costs, some will say the 338 Lapua is more expensive to load for due to the cost of the Lapua Brass. Both with a 300 yard zero the 225 shoots 25, 33, and 43 inches flatter at 800, 900 and 1000 yards. Thats a bunch of clicks but in my case since I shoot mil dots the flat trajectory of the 225 allows me to get on target quickly without the use of clicks.
