3cm dilated and 80 effaced

Went to Dr this past Tuesday (35wk2d) for spotting, I’m 1-2cm dilated and 70% effaced. Had an NST, baby is great but contractions 3-5 minutes consistently. They sent me to hospital for monitoring as well. Same thing. Consistent contractions, same dilation and 70%. The contractions aren’t painful but I can feel them.
