TFOT currently lists the AFSC as "17D/S (17X)" which has me overthinking everything. I know the shreds are determined at the schoolhouse, and unless I apply for direct commission, there's no real way to go directly into 17S. Figured I'd ask before I fill out the wrong info. I'm a bit confused as to what to put down as my option.

Q shred is general system admin, a mix of servers, client systems, networking, radio, and anything else not covered by the other shreds. M shred is MDTs, cybersecurity, and COMSEC.
