I'm working on filling out my sbr paperwork and was trying to research the barrel length. I have an MKE rifle. Is 8.85 inches the standard barrel length to aim for when sbr'ing? ... I have it on my SBR AP5, I love it. It's good quality for sure. Under a critical eye there is a slight bit of play when it's extended but not enough to be a worry, I don't notice it when I'm out shooting. The AP5 Series. The AP5 or “Apparatus Pistol”, is a roller delayed blowback firearm based and built off of the original and historic design from the 1970’s. The roller-lock platform has been widely respected as the preeminent design for over 50 years. Adopted for use across the globe, no other firearm of its type has been more successful. Thinking something like the Choate. Ish length should be fine though. A quick google search of MP5K specs (since it's not newer to the market) is 23.5" with the Choate stock or 22" with the B&T folder. I've never worried too much about the OAL of my firearm when it comes to the Form 1 as they don't check it anyway. When I was shopping for a suppressor for an MP5 a couple years ago, I narrowed the list down to the Dead Air Wolfman, the SilencerCo Omega 9k, and the GSL Phoenix. I ended up choosing the DA Wolfman. Here's my take on the Wolfman. Caveat: It's the only pistol caliber suppressor I own or have experience with.

Oct 14, 2022 · I have shot nearly 1300rds through this SBR and I have yet to clean it. The AP5 shot 250rds without an issue, and the AP5-P shot 250rds without an issue. It appears you need a photo of the serial number and markings on the gun you wish to sbr, and the AP5 that comes with the shield RDS has the mount covering half the serial number.
