I just love Cook Out's food, and it's dangerous how close this location is to me. One thing that does keep me at bay unless I have a really serious craving is the line. Cook Out is NOT fast food. Last time I visited, the line took at least half an hour. At least. I love their milkshakes, especially the orange push up, Oreo, and vanilla.

Cook Out is a North Carolina institution and they finally opened one in Chapel Hill. The milkshakes are delicious. Not liquidy but very thick; similar consistency of a DQ Blizzard.
