The RR was only part of the problem. The original crit system gave crazy damage numbers. Plus you could easily get close to 100% CDR on Shadow Strike., Physical AAR is the best version, a major reason being that damage converted to physical ignores armor. Templar is the best choice for this build, but be aware that you need (farmable) endgame items for it to work.
