I love lever actions so I just use the 10ga lever shotgun the 30-30 rifle the 45-70 rifle It covers all species, not the best (7mm or 243 are oomphier and more accurate for instance, but eh they're not levers) I've been having a blast up close with the 10ga slugs on big game (so far bison, grizzly and moose, planning on trying it on buffalos next).
