I took it to ..., Cummins has relised 4.25, 4.5, and 4.75 wedges to advance the timming as needed. As of right now all the CM871 ISX problem engines ( plugged oil fiters, plugged dpf and doc, low power/sluggish) I have measured static timming on have been retarded. If you have access to Cummins quickserve you can look up static timing specks by engine CPL.
