An unidentified man was taken to a hospital with critical injuries after his motorcycle collided with a vehicle in southwest Wichita. Police said the motorcycle was going south on Hoover Road shortly after 3:30 p.m. Wednesday and it may have been in the wrong lane when it collided with a vehicle near MacArthur., The National Weather Service reported a record low for Wichita as bitter cold temperatures continues Tuesday morning. The low at Eisenhower National Airport was -17, breaking a record for February 16 of -6 that was set in 1903. That’s the fourth coldest temperature on record, tied with a recorded -17 from February of 2011.
