Weeks and eventually had to be induced. My doctor said you can "lose it" multiple times. Basically regrows and sheds over and over. a month.

I lost my plug at 35 weeks and still didn't go into labor until 39+3 😭. Just totally depends on the baby and mom I guess! I would definitely have bags ready though just in case you're one of the lucky ones.
