Helps a lot with the two-handed part and lack of defenses granting a big buffer of Temp HPs, can start Arcane Cascade with Negative Energy (a nice plus, unless fighting Undeads) and deals an extra 2d6 for each Heightened you ...
Actually, I'm building laughing shadow magus, and I don't invest into INT, but into CHA. You will have nothing special from Wizard Archetype, so you can do exactly the same build (in terms of feats), but with Sorcerer. Same spellslots, familiar... But you say bye to INT. You can use 2 cantrip slots from Sorcerer Dedication with Charisma as its ... Many of the Magus feats are designed with a melee Magus in mind so we are more free to pick up a both the Gunslinger Dedication and then a Spellcasting dedication for more spellslots to Spellstrike with in this build.
