I've always heard people talking about Philippe Chow over the years and how it is a super popular hot spot. I did the research and they are very pricey (and I just refuse to pay that kind of money for Chinese food). It's one of those spots that lots of New Yorkers have on their "To Do" list. It's sexy and ultra chic. The scene is very glam, so dress to impress. Think mood lighting, banquette benches and cozy tables, and a shiny metallic open kitchen that provides nearly as much theater as the preening patrons. An experience to savor, for sure!
