Oct 25, 2020 · If you want to run a larger magwell, you will have to upgrade to a Gen 1 STI grip (w/ mainspring housing and magazine catch). As of today, I don't know of any companies making large magwells for the Gen 2 (Staccato) grips. You'll be happy. Clean and lube it prior to shooting, Give it 250 rds of break in, clean and lube again, and you'll be good to go! I did the same regimen with my Staccatos that I do with all my pistols.
