May 11, 2011 · 1. Only four months old. Measures good. Cranks over at full speed without slowing at all. (No, don't make a habit of cranking it for more than 3 seconds and I do let starter cool between tries.) 2. Starts the car for a week at a time in two seconds or less of cranking. Only doesn't start once or twice a week.

Only the check engine light not working is related to the no start condition. The other warning lights are on separate circuits.
