Personally I like the 10/63s because you get a little history with it. But as far as functionality they're both made in romania and good to go. Poly mags do fit tight, do not use as a templet! Surplus mags are not supposed to fit like OJs glove, they need a little room, not much. Touch up with cold blue when your done.We give the WASR-10 v2 an average of 4 stars. Value: The WASR-10 v2 used to be the best value on the AKM market before the prices of imported AK-47s skyrocketed. My question, is the barrel threaded under the nut or is it likely that the threads were milled off? From the picture it looks like it may be 1983 model. The markins read: GP/WASR-10/63.
